Big yes on this place. Fried chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. Fixins are important to me - Greens, black eyed peas, and Mac n cheese were all on point and would absolutely recommend. I'd pass on having the potato salad again because it's on the sweet side, which isn't how I like it. Catfish was a bit salty, but good. Had the brownie to satisfy the sweet tooth after...a bit crumbly, but very moist and delicious. I'll be going back for sure!
This place is a must try for soul food. From the chips they provide while waiting for your food to the ribs to the fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and the Mac and cheese! All were so delicious! The only thing I would say is the candied yams were a bit too sweet for my liking, but my sister loved it. The service was friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Just had an incredible Saturday soul food brunch! Tried the deviled eggs appetizer it was really, really nice! We also had the fried chicken Breakfast with a side Waffle. This place is a hidden gem!
Kinfolks is my favorite place to go for amazing soul food. The deviled eggs with the fried chicken on top with the drizzle of hot sauce are so damn good! Getting the fried chicken smothered or plain will have you satisfied either way. My least favorite side would be the macaroni and cheese. Also, the desserts are amazing! Try the banana pudding or strawberry crunch cake.
While visiting Florida I wanted to experience some good soul food,so I googled and found Kinfolk's. It had good ratings and a basic menu that was great for me. I ordered one of the Tuesday specials-the smothered pork chops over rice,collard greens and potato salad. With a green velvet cake for dessert. Oh yeah,I can't forget the infused drink
We love the down home cooking here and it's always delicious. Price is good too
This place is a must try for Ft Pierce! The staff are good people and the food is amazing! They also have a sweets shop with some pretty good desserts. My new go-to for when Im craving some good southern food.
FYI Don't let the small place turn you away. I live in Miami and was up here for work. You will not get food that tastes this great and the people that work here are so nice. If I could give more than 5 stars ,I would. Fried Half chicken with collard greens and slaw.
